The foods of love have taken on some very strange forms—and still do. Of course none has produced the slightest proof of desired results. But much like any myth people continue to believe in them nonetheless. In fact, not a shred of science supports most of the claims linked with love charms, love potions, or some love foods.

Of course in the Orient it’s birds-nest soup. Also highly prized as a love stimulant. In fact, the sought-after ingredients is nesting material oozed from the mouths of sea birds. EAU-LA-LA!

Even the potato got its minute of fame in the passion spot-light. Saying it fetched big-bucks for one pound as a rumored “SUPER LOVE FOOD.”

Just so happens, our Ancient ones began baking bread in weird shapes hoping to simulate their mating impulses. In fact, eggs became known as “prizes of passion” more than for health benefits. As for milk and honey, always a prize aphrodisiac.

Of course foods of love will continue to drive men and women mad. Casting them “into fits” by someone wanting to retain their affections. But foods of love have some pretty strange forms. In truth, it seems that both sexes have always been looking for some kind of LOVE MAGIC. Even brewing concoctions so strong they literally killed the passion along with the lover.

Even if all should fail there will always be another more powerful love food to come along.
